NCAA Padres
Serra football is known for its core values of Love, Brotherhood and Humility. When Coach Walsh began his 23-season career at Serra in 2001, one of his paramount goals was to increase exposure for Serra Padre Football student-athletes. Over time, Coach Walsh developed a winning protocol to prepare athletes for the recruiting process and build strong relationships with college recruitment coaches so that Serra athletes were favorably showcased and professionally marketed.
Serra has been incredibly successful in welcoming coaches from schools across the nation, including most notable football focused, such as Alabama, Cal, Stanford, University of Oregon, San Diego State, Florida and more.
Coach Walsh’s winning legacy, longevity in coaching, and industry respect, makes Serra a prioritized stop for colleges of all levels when recruiting the SF Bay Area. Collegiate recruiting is a relationship business and nobody knows this better than Coach Walsh and his staff. While the players earn the scholarships, the Serra coaches help the players earn them by operating a collegiate structured program at the high school level.
